How to use
Take Generic Plan-B (Levonorgestrel) as directed by your doctor, and follow your prescription label exactly. The first dose of Generic Plan-B (Levonorgestrel) should be taken as quickly as possible after having unprotected sex, and no later than 72 hours. The second dose is taken 12 hours after the first dose. This timing is very important for Generic Plan-B (Levonorgestrel) to be as effective as possible. Call your doctor or health care provider immediately if you vomit within the first hour after taking the first or second doses of Generic Plan-B (Levonorgestrel). Do not take a further dose without talking to your doctor. You should get an examination by your doctor or healthcare provider within the first 3 weeks following your ingestion of Generic Plan-B (Levonorgestrel). The doctor should confirm that you are not pregnant and have no harmful side effects. If your period is more than 1 week late, you may be pregnant. Overdose

Drug Interactions
Before using Generic Plan-B (Levonorgestrel), notify your doctor if you are using any of the following drugs:
A barbiturate such as amobarbital (Amytal), butabarbital (Butisol), mephobarbital (Mebaral), secobarbital (Seconal),
Phenobarbital (Luminal, Solfoton)
Seizure medication, such as phenytoin (Dilantin) or carbamazepine (Tegretol)
This list is not complete and there may be other drugs that can affect Generic Plan-B (Levonorgestrel). Tell your doctor about all the prescription and over-the-counter medication you use. This includes vitamins, minerals, herbal products, and drugs prescribed by other doctors. Do not start using a new medication without telling your doctor.
Get emergency medical help if you develope an allergic reaction to Generic Plan-B (Levonorgestrel). This includes:
Hives
Difficulty breathing
Swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat
Call your doctor at once if you have severe pain in your lower stomach or side. This could be a sign of a tubal pregnancy (a pregnancy that implants in the fallopian tube instead of the uterus). A tubal pregnancy is a medical emergency. Less serious Generic Plan-B (Levonorgestrel) side effects may include:
Nausea, diarrhea or stomach pain
Breast pain or tenderness
Dizziness
Feeling tired
Changes in your menstrual periods
Headache.
